State Representative Jarrod Martin
is serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 70th House District seat, which
is comprised of the Cities of Beavercreek, Fairborn, and Xenia, and the Townships of Bath, Beavercreek, and Xenia in Greene
County.
Born
at Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia and raised in Beavercreek, Representative Martin has spent most of his life living in
the district. Representative Martin is a Beavercreek High School graduate and as a stand-out athlete for
BHS, he began his college tenure at Virginia Tech. with one of the largest athletic scholarships ever granted to a BHS graduate.

Martin holds an M.B.A from the University of Dayton, and. a B.S. in business administration; graduating cum laude from the
College of Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio.
At Mount Saint Joseph, Representative Martin was an NCAA Academic and Athletic All-American
and lead the Lions to their first ever conference championship in the sport of wrestling as well as a top 15 finish at nationals.
Representative Martin was honored for his dedication to academics and athletics with his induction into two national honor
societies (Sigma Beta Delta for high academic achievement in business and Chi Alpha Sigma for high academic and athletic achievement)
as well as recognition by the College of Mount Saint Joseph with the distinguished “Leadership and Service Award”.
Representative Martin
began his public service with an appointment to the Beavercreek Environmental Advisory Commission, followed by an appointment
to the Beavercreek Planning Commission. Representative Martin was elected to the Beavercreek City Council in 2005.

is a small business owner and remains active in his district through his involvement in numerous organizations including:
the Beavercreek Community Athletic Association, the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association, the Beavercreek, Fairborn,
and Xenia Chambers of Commerce, the Greene County United Way’s Christmas Assistance Program, and the Greene County Township
Association.
Representative
Martin is a life member of the NRA, a member of Ducks Unlimited, The Ohio Gun Collectors Association, and the Greene County
Fish and Game Association. He is an avid hunter and enjoys fishing and boating.
Representative Martin resides in Beavercreek with his wife, Bernadette, and
their three children.
